Toki – Continental Barleywine, 11.2% Batch 1 – December 2024
For our first batch we brewed a unique barleywine brewed with the finest German pilsner, Vienna, Munich, and smoked malts from Weyermann, dark candy sugar, boiled for 10 hours, and hopped with German Herkules. This barleywine really shows its German and Belgian influence with complex layers of dates, pipe tobacco, rye bread, milk chocolate, peanut brittle, toffee, and leather with an earthy hop bitterness to balance the sweetness.
